Cupcake Royale's "Bacon Whiskey Maple" (hold the bacon)

Just back from Cupcake Royale, we’re about to bite into their monthly special: the Bacon Whiskey Maple (though we couldn’t face the bacon and had them give us little shamrocks instead). What makes it St. Patrick’s Day-worthy, besides the shamrocks, is the Jameson Irish Whiskey flavoring the buttercream.

But your desserts o’ Erin options don’t end there. If you’re not ready for the harder stuff, Trophy Cupcakes has a Chocolate Guinness Stout cupcake with Irish Cream Buttercream–and they stop making it March 19 so step on it.

Mixing it up a little, High 5 Pie tweets that this delight is waiting for you: “Luck O the Pie-rish today at high 5! Green grasshopper pie and Lucky Charms cream pie, with green clovers of course!”
