Gift Idea: Teenager Survival Kit
My niece turned 13 the other day. Those teenage years can be tough, so I thought I’d give her a few items that would’ve helped me when I was her age. Think about giving this “Teenager Survival Kit” to the teen in your life.
One world almanac: Very handy if you ever need to quickly check a fact for a school paper.
One dime: Keep it with you so you can always call home in an emergency.
One pack of blank cassette tapes: If you want a copy of a song but don’t want to buy the whole album, just wait for it to come on the radio and record it onto the tape!
One subscription to TV Guide: Missing your favorite TV show sucks–then you have to wait months for the re-run! Won’t happen with this handy publication.
One notepad and pen: If someone’s late to your predetermined meeting place, just leave them a note and tell them where you’re headed next.
Gift certificate to Kit’s Cameras: Always have money to pay for developing film so you can see what those photos you took look like!
Thanks to David Swidler for his ideas, and happy birthday Nikayla!
