And to be fair about the Highline comparison, that&#039;s an iron/steel structure that&#039;s been in place for roughly 80 years, in a non-earthquake zone. It even stayed up when abandoned for the latter half of the 20th century. We&#039;re tearing down the viaduct (yeah!) because we don&#039;t think it will stand by itself for another 20 years, right? Oh yeah, and the viaduct was built on the cheap like everything in Seattle]]></description>
