This one’s for the typeface nerds out there. Maybe this is like how you get the second showing of a syndicated film for cheaper, but with fonts. That said, The Stranger’s headline writer clearly wins this round. Intiman Patio Haunted by OCD Ghosts?

Alert reader Brian Sully just emailed this photograph of all the chairs on the patio outside Intiman Theatre, carefully arranged in the water at the fountain’s perimeter. “The fountain furniture rearranger struck last night,” writes Sully. “Maybe expecting a very warm day today.” If that is the case, they’re not using my AccuWeather app, which only forecasts a high of 70 degrees.

It’s Maritime Week in Seattle! (Wait, What’s That?)

The 2011 Seattle Maritime Festival is here, with a week-long slate of events designed to remind you that Seattle is a working port city, and celebrate the many elements of our maritime heritage. The Seattle Propeller Club has all the information. This year it’s also honoring the Port of Seattle’s first 100 years.
