I’m going to compare Ellsworth to Woody Allen–“I gotta tell ya,” she says, and in the same breath quotes Robert Fitzgerald’s translation of the Iliad, something about war’s butchery–but I think she goes Allen one better, because while Allen is also not just burlesquing Tolstoy, but imagining love and imagining death, Ellsworth is filling up a silence, as well. This week, Seattle’s finest burger shack opened their Red Mill Totem House in Ballard. The SunBreak’s Lunch Team wasted no time in getting over there and getting in line–which is already long–with many happy soon-to-be-customers licking their chops.

UPDATED: Bent Burgers Serves Up a Mixed Bag

Located at 5100 S Dawson Street, Bent Burgers is a welcome tenant in a burger-starved region of the city. The interior is American burger shack classic with vinyl seats, booths and, critical for Seattle, a generous outdoor seating area. A nice touch is table tops decorated with vintage comic book art.
