At Town Hall, three local cellists joined cello superstar Matt Haimovtiz onstage for an eclectic program of music ranging from Bach to heavy metal. The performance was the first of the season for Simple Measures, a chamber music concert series that emphasizes a casual, fun format.

All of Bob Dylan's Christmas In The Heart, which is sidesplittingly funny from start to finish (intentionally, I fervidly hope) deserves mention. Picture the season's overplayed favorites... growled, in a good-natured fashion. Bonus points to "O Come All Ye Faithful (Adeste Fidelis)," in which Bob sounds particularly drunk.
