The restaurant's bid in the collective Seattle Center look to the future, The Next Fifty, has local up-and-coming chefs under the direction of SkyCity's Executive Chef Jeff Maxfield through the end of the month. At $62, it ain't cheap--nothing at the Space Needle is, silly--but proceeds from the menu benefit each participating culinary school's scholarship fund. And there's that view.

We’re exactly four weeks out from the 7th Annual Guest Chef on the Waterfront, in which over 1,200 guests will feast on food and beverages from over 60 of the Seattle area’s best restaurants, breweries, wineries, and other purveyors. The event benefits FareStart (winner of this year's James Beard Foundation "Humanitarian of the Year" award), which offers a job training and placement program for homeless and disadvantaged individuals.
