Astronauts are visiting Seattle next week to publicize a NASA exhibit — Destination: Station — on view at Pacific Science Center now through September 2. It’s a multimedia exhibit that tells the story of the International Space Station, its space-based research, and the partnership of five space agencies, representing 15 countries, that runs it. Kids! The “Doodle 4 Google” Window is Closing!

So here’s how the winning part works: All doodles need to be submitted by March 23. Then “a team of Googlers” and guest judges (Katy Perry, Phineas and Ferb creator and executive producer Jeff “Swampy” Marsh, recording artist Jordin Sparks) choose finalists. On May 2, a public vote will determine one winner from each grade group. First prize will be awarded on May 17th, with the winning Google doodler’s art showcased on google.com on May 18th. King Tut Exhibit Tickets On Sale at Pacific Science Center

In theory, this is your last chance to Tut it up without buying airfare to Egypt. This exhibit’s world tour ends in Seattle; after this, the artifacts take up their new home in the Grand Egyptian Museum in Giza. Seattle to Egypt airfare right now runs more than $1,000.
