The Times quotes Clifford Traisman, lobbyist for Washington Conservation Voters and Washington Environmental Council, saying, “It’s not a black-and-white environmental issue.”

This vociferousness isn’t like them, by the way–it’s just that they can’t find a worthwhile benefit the tunnel provides for the cost.
