Glimpses: "Piggy"

I've been saving this one all week for a nice change of pace--I guess this had something to do with the Solstice Parade in Fremont, but for me, this excellent shot by Simple Insomnia from our Flickr pool--in its subject, angle and color palette--just oozes the early Jeunet/Caro aesthetic of Delicatessen and City of Lost Children.

Yuck
Take that down, it's gross. I was in the middle of eating a breakfast sandwich with sausage and nearly puked when I downloaded the sunbreak.com online blog just now

RE: Yuck
How is this gross at all?

This guy was also carrying around a severed doll's head. I'm sorry I couldn't get that in the shot, too.

The Solstice parade is about so much more than just naked bicyclists and half-naked dancers. I'm glad I was able to capture this unique perspective.
