Today, Sunday, at 4:30 p.m. Pacific, the Guggenheim is live-streaming "John Zorn's Music Interpreted," which is lucky because even if you were in New York, it's a sold-out show. It features choreographers Donald Byrd and Pam Tanowitz, each commissioned by Works & Process, who have set pieces to the music of composer John Zorn. The performance, carried by ustream, features Byrd, Tanowitz, and Zorn's commentary, moderated by composer Charles Wuorinen.

"Byrd, known for his beautiful yet volatile work, will choreograph a piece with his Seattle-based company Spectrum Dance Theater set to Zorn's ∴ played by pianist Stephen Drury," says the Guggenheim, while Tanowitz, "known for her unflinchingly postmodern treatment of classical dance," works with "Femina," "written as a tribute to the rich legacy of women in the arts."
