Zut Alors! Bastille Day at Campagne
Speaking of the Frenchies, a week from today, it’s Bastille Day. And hands down, there is no better way to celebrate liberté, égalité, and fraternité than to hit up Campagne’s annual party in Post Alley. While Campagne proper remains closed for renovations, Cafe Campagne is holding down the fort, so next Thursday we can all celebrate the storming of a French prison with near-unlimited supplies of rosé, pommes frites, and sausage sandwiches. As God intended.
And no promises, especially given today, but expect beautiful July weather and lots of good-looking people. You will eat and drink until you are sated. You will frolic in the warm summer weather. You will wonder where all these attractive people have been hiding all year. (Answer: They’re European.)
