Maple Viewing @ the Japanese Garden
When: | Sunday, October 18, 2009 11:00 AM - 03:00 PM |
Where: | Japanese Garden, Arboretum, Seattle |
What: | More than 150 maples show off their fall colors in the Arboretum this time of year, and the Japanese Garden is host to a day of leaf-watching, along with traditional and contemporary music by Marcia Takamura and James Jennings, a performance by the Evergreen Glee Club, and a demonstration of “wet on wet painting” by Frances Dunlap and Mari Nakamura. The Puget Sound Bonsai Association will have a bonsai display, and a number of gardening advisers will be there.
