| What: | John Darnielle says, "People please do not let scalpers get to the tickets before you do in the bigger cities! I wish I could stop them from trying to fleece you, but I am not Bono! When I become Bono I will fully put the smack down on the scalpers but until then you are on your own!" The intrepid indie art-rockers Mountain Goats (at this moment, John Darnielle, Peter Hughes, and Jon Wurster) are touring for their album, The Life of the World to Come. Last time the Goats were in town, MvB quoted "the guy by the bar, who proclaimed that when it came to the Mountain Goats, he skipped the booze and just had a few beers. He wanted to make sure he caught every second." Final Fantasy (Owen Pallett) is the opening act. Doors open at 8 p.m. and tickets are $20. |
