| What: | A spin-off of the popular "Cheap Wine and Poetry" series, "Cheap Beer and Prose" pairs $1 PBRs with a line-up of four writers reading from longer prose works at the Richard Hugo House. This edition features Maria Semple (“This One is Mine”), Matthew Simmons (“A Jello Horse”), Midge Raymond (“Forgetting English”) and Rory Douglas (McSweeney's columnist). The event is free admission, though donations are strongly recommended. |
