Over the next four days there’ll be plenty of opportunities throughout Seattle to walk, run, march, and bicycle or watch others walking, running, marching and bicycling. The events range from Bike to Work Day and Seattle Summer Streets celebrations to Mariners baseball and a Sounder soccer match.
If you’re not participating in one of the many sports activities, the Seattle Department of Transportation encourages you to join in the citywide effort to cut down on driving and reduce pollution and traffic congestion by taking one of the many alternate modes of transportation available--the Sounder, Link Rail, Metro Transit, car pool, bicycle, or walk, if feasible.
