One Thing You Missed If You Missed Ignite in August

Once again, I missed Ignite Seattle. Extra painful: I know one of the presenters, Mehal Shah, who plays trivia at the Old Pequliar (part of Annyong) most Tuesdays. Three separate people I know said his presentation was awesome.

So I'm glad that his presentation finally showed up on YouTube: "Fighting Dirty in Scrabble." Never, ever play Scrabble against Mehal. He'd be the cocky Laurence Fishburne character in the Searching for Bobby Fischer-style drama about Scrabble, the one who hasn't memorized all the tournament-legal 4-letter words, but who will psych you out so hard you'll wish you'd just been spanked.

Watch the video. And then if you want to play games with Mehal, try trivia. (Even a double shot of braggadocio won't help if he can't identify Shirley Bassey singing "Get This Party Started.")
