Earlier this afternoon, Live Nation announced that the North American leg of Rihanna's seemingly neverending world tour kicks off Friday, July 2nd, at Auburn's White River Amphitheatre. She'll be joined by "rising star Ke$ha and female rapper Nicki Minaj," a phrase I must quote because I would never claim those descriptors as my own.
Rihanna's sold-out European tour starts later this month in Antwerp, but before then, she'll be on American Idol this Wednesday, out-singing everybody from this abysmal season. Tix for the White River show go on sale this Saturday at 10 a.m. Full details and list of tour dates after the jump.

“We’ve never done a tour to this capacity. The production is unbelievable and the costumes, we just took it to a whole new level. Visually and sonically it’s going to be a big step up from the last time. With a total of over 121 million in audience nationwide - up over 25 million this week alone - “Rude Boy” continues its chart onslaught as the #1 Hot 100 Airplay song and the #1 Greatest Gainer/Airplay on the chart for the 7th week in a row.
Set to launch her sold out spring European tour on April 16th in Antwerp, Belgium, before heading overseas Rihanna will perform on FOX’s American Idol on Wednesday, April 7th.
Rihanna’s Last Girl On Earth tour will make 25 stops, at mix of top amphitheaters and arenas throughout North America this summer, beginning on July 2nd at the White River Amphitheater in Seattle through August 25th at the United Center in Chicago, with more dates to be announced soon. Released in November 2009, Rihanna’s fourth studio album Rated R debuted atop the Billboard R&B Albums chart at #1and was the biggest first-week Soundscan tally of Rihanna’s career.
