The SunBreak’s own Michael Van Baker said it best: “Maybe I just wanted to shake my groove thing?” Well, he wasn’t the only one.
Some of the most packed shows at Bumbershoot also turned out to be the most butt-shaking. Whether it was hip-hop, soul, electronica, or straight-up new wave revivalism, some of the Fest’s best moments were the ones that induced Seattleites to engage in that most rare and arcane of activities: dancing.
