GreatBeyond is offering up the possibility of legal action against himself for the subject matter of the above photo. We here at Glimpses will not buy into it but rather agree with his caption’s assertion that yes, he is allowed the occasional pretty flower in spring shot. So are you! Take one and add it to our Flickr pool, why don’t you?

Glimpses: “Early Risers”
We’re going to go ahead and stick with our “hurry up spring” theme here on Glimpses this week and show you GregPierceImages‘ lovely shot of some yellow croci (yes, croci) which appear to be going with the program.
Glimpses: “Vented Wide Mouth and Flowers”
It’s true what they say about finding great things when you’re not looking for them. At least when it comes to the next Glimpses photo. As we scanned the Flickr pool for some sort of lovely spring flower, we came across this image. Yes, still flowers, but this unexpected composition is really so much more. Thanks for sharing, Paul Swortz.
Glimpses: April Flowers
Monday morning means another peek at the SunBreak Flickr pool. After a wet and dreary Sunday, we’re skipping ahead in the “April Showers Bring May Flowers” cliche to remind ourselves of all of the gray-countering color that has already appeared on trees and gardens this year. While it’s always nicer to see the blossoming trees against a clear blue sky backdrop, we’ll take whatever we can get to remind us that it’s springtime in Seattle.
