Glimpses: “Gas Works Park, Seattle”
Dave Hoefler‘s unique perspective on Gas Works Park has us thinking about how spring is a mere six weeks away…
Glimpses: “Bye Bye Easy Street”
We’re not trying to pour salt in anyone’s still fresh wounds, but felt a goodbye post (albeit belated) was appropriate. Thanks to GreatBeyond for the souvenir.
Glimpses: “Clever Camouflage”
It’s shaping up to be black and white week here on Glimpses, but it seems to be working well so far. This second entry comes from GreatBeyond and features a state of repose we are likely all envious of now that the rain has returned and the dark is still here.
Glimpses: “Fruit and Woman Carrying Flowers”
We love how Dave Hoefler has captured this scene in a way so that even though it is 2013, there’s nothing here (except perhaps the prices) that says it couldn’t have been taken 20 or 30 years ago. Here’s to hoping the Pike Place Market’s air of timelessness remains for at least that much longer.
Glimpses: “Wine, lit”
In case you were wondering what a grid of lit-up wine bottles looks like, James Callan has done an excellent job illustrating such an occurrence over in our Flickr pool (now over 7,000 photos!). And now we can’t help but suggest these two subject-appropriate songs by The National: Lit Up and All the Wine.
